Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H4C12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H4C12 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher H4C12 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H4C12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and MESO show a favorable association.

SCLC, MESO, and UCEC are the cancer types where H4C12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
