Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3P41 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of H3P41’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where H3P41 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types H3P41 is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA are the cancer types where H3P41 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
