Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3C8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H3C8 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher H3C8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H3C8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CHOL, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where H3C8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
