Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3-4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H3-4 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher H3-4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H3-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.

ACC, THYM, and KIRC are the cancer types where H3-4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
