Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H3-3B RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H3-3B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher H3-3B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H3-3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and COAD show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where H3-3B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
