Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2BC8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H2BC8 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher H2BC8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2BC8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and ESCA are the cancer types where H2BC8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
