Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AW Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H2AW data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher H2AW Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2AW expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, BLCA, and THYM are the cancer types where H2AW Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
