Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AP RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H2AP data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher H2AP RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H2AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where H2AP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
