Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H2AL1QP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of H2AL1QP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where H2AL1QP RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types H2AL1QP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where H2AL1QP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
