Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H1-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated H1-1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher H1-1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H1-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where H1-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
