Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, H1-0 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated H1-0 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher H1-0 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated H1-0 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and BRCA are the cancer types where H1-0 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
