Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCY2EP RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GUCY2EP data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher GUCY2EP RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCY2EP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and HNSC show a favorable association.
SKCM, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where GUCY2EP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
