Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCY2C RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GUCY2C data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher GUCY2C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCY2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and READ show a favorable association.

UVM, LGG, and HNSC are the cancer types where GUCY2C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
