Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCY2C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GUCY2C data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher GUCY2C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCY2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, BRCA, and GBM are the cancer types where GUCY2C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
