Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GUCA2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GUCA2A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher GUCA2A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GUCA2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

LIHC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where GUCA2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
