Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTPBP6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTPBP6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GTPBP6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTPBP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where GTPBP6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
