Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF3A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF3A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher GTF3A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where GTF3A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
