Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2H5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GTF2H5 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GTF2H5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2H5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and LGG show a favorable association.
HNSC, KICH, and THCA are the cancer types where GTF2H5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
