Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GTF2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GTF2B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher GTF2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GTF2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where GTF2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
