Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GSTA5 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GSTA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GSTA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, COAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where GSTA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
