Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTA11P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of GSTA11P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where GSTA11P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types GSTA11P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, KIRP, and LIHC are the cancer types where GSTA11P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
