Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GSTA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GSTA1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher GSTA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GSTA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where GSTA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
