Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRIN2D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GRIN2D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher GRIN2D Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRIN2D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SARC, and KICH are the cancer types where GRIN2D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
