Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRIN2D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GRIN2D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher GRIN2D mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRIN2D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where GRIN2D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
