Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRIN2C RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GRIN2C data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher GRIN2C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRIN2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and LGG show a favorable association.
ACC, SCLC, and KIRP are the cancer types where GRIN2C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
