Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GRIN2C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GRIN2C data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher GRIN2C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GRIN2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where GRIN2C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
