Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPR83 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GPR83 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher GPR83 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPR83 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and READ show a favorable association.

SCLC, LUAD, and READ are the cancer types where GPR83 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
