Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GPATCH2L RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GPATCH2L data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher GPATCH2L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GPATCH2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where GPATCH2L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
