Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GOT2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher GOT2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where GOT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
