Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GORAB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GORAB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher GORAB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GORAB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, SKCM, and LUSC are the cancer types where GORAB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
