Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLT1A RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GOLT1A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher GOLT1A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLT1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRP, UVM, and ACC are the cancer types where GOLT1A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
