Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA8T RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GOLGA8T data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GOLGA8T RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA8T expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and LUAD show a favorable association.

LUSC, STAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where GOLGA8T RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
