Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA6L9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GOLGA6L9 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher GOLGA6L9 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA6L9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and UVM are the cancer types where GOLGA6L9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
