Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA6D RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GOLGA6D data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher GOLGA6D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA6D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and LIHC show a favorable association.
LUAD, MESO, and ACC are the cancer types where GOLGA6D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
