Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GOLGA6A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GOLGA6A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GOLGA6A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GOLGA6A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where GOLGA6A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
