Across TCGA patient cohorts, GNS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,871 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GNS-associated genes across cancer lineages are HR, CTSZ, and CD36. Each is linked with GNS in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GNS-to-partner and partner-to-GNS results are reported.
