Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GNGT2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GNGT2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher GNGT2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GNGT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where GNGT2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
