Across TCGA patient cohorts, GNG8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 11,539 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GNG8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SEPTIN6, PDLIM7, and CACNA2D1. Each is linked with GNG8 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GNG8-to-partner and partner-to-GNG8 results are reported.
