Across TCGA patient cohorts, GNE protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,858 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GNE-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNF38, RNU4-53P, and RAB27A. Each is linked with GNE in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GNE-to-partner and partner-to-GNE results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, GNE versus RNF38 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.29.
