Across TCGA cell cohorts, GMPS mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GMPS-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGEB4, AVP, and PLVAP. Each is linked with GMPS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GMPS-to-partner and partner-to-GMPS results are reported.
