Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GML Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GML data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher GML Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GML expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
COAD, STAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where GML Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
