Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLUD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLUD1 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher GLUD1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLUD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and PDAC show a favorable association.

OV, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where GLUD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
