Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GLRX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GLRX5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GLRX5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GLRX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where GLRX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
