Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GK data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher GK Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where GK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
