Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GJA6P RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GJA6P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher GJA6P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GJA6P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.

OV, LUSC, and UVM are the cancer types where GJA6P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
