Across TCGA cell cohorts, GJA1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,379 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GJA1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of gonadotropin secretion, Atrial cardiac muscle cell action potential, and Atrial cardiac muscle cell to AV node cell signaling. Each is linked with GJA1 in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GJA1-to-partner and partner-to-GJA1 results are reported.
