GJA1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, GJA1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GJA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGEB4, MBD3L5, and SLC5A7. Each is linked with GJA1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GJA1-to-partner and partner-to-GJA1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MAGEB4 grouped by GJA1-low versus GJA1-high in LUNG_SCLC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GJA1→partner) and Y-score (partner→GJA1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
