Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GIMAP1-GIMAP5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GIMAP1-GIMAP5 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher GIMAP1-GIMAP5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GIMAP1-GIMAP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC and LUAD are the cancer types where GIMAP1-GIMAP5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
