Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GHITM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GHITM data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher GHITM Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GHITM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
ACC, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where GHITM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
