Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GGTLC1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated GGTLC1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher GGTLC1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GGTLC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and KIRC show a favorable association.

LUSC, LUAD, and UVM are the cancer types where GGTLC1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
